Campo di San Teodoro Liberato

UA point of reference for many young people in the neighborhood of Librino: Campo San Teodoro Liberato was, for a long time, an abandoned sports facility.
Since 2012 the association “I Briganti Rugby” has started to operate – and continues to do so significantly – with social activities worthy of note, making the sports center a youth aggregation center through school recovery activities, art workshops, and promotion of sport as social inclusion.

After three years from the start of the redevelopment work, on 18 February 2022 the municipality of Catania delivers to the association a fully regenerated rugby field in which young sportsmen, with their families can enjoy the sport in total safety.

A redevelopment with a strong symbolic value to which have collaborated many artists such as Mi5ter Pera, Antonio Anc and Abramo Art with their murales.
