Catania – Full-day tour on boat with lunch on board

From the Port of Catania to the Caves of Ulysses

Embark on a full-day tour starting at 10:00 AM from the Port of Catania. During the navigation towards the fishing port of Acitrezza, you will admire the Caves of Ulysses from the distance permitted by the coast. These caves are formed in a beautiful lava cliff overlooking the sea.

Admire the Beauty of Acitrezza

The colors of the seabed are stunning, ranging from deep blue to light blue and turquoise. As you pass under the medieval castle of Acicastello, enjoy the spectacular view of the castle from the sea. You will then dock at the Port of Acitrezza, where you will have about an hour of free time to spend as you wish (this time is not included in the daily rental and is your responsibility).

Activities We Recommend

You can take a walk through the picturesque fishing village of Acitrezza. Alternatively, you can rent a paddle boat (included in the price) or use a small fishing boat service that will take you to Lachea Island, the heart of the reserve, where you can snorkel with equipment provided by us.

Back on the boat, we will offer you lunch* (included in the price) consisting of an appetizer, a fish-based main course (which may vary depending on the catch of the day), fresh seasonal fruit, water, and Emilio Sciacca’s DOC white wine.

Depending on the sea and weather conditions, lunch will be served either moored at the buoy of the Marine Protected Area or within the port.

*Vegetarian or vegan menus are available upon request. For any other dietary needs (gluten-free, vegan diet, etc.), please inform us at the time of booking. The return to the Port of Catania is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
