Villa Reimann is located near the archaeological park of Neapolis. Built in 1881, the Danish noblewoman Christiane Reimann bought it in 1933 after having loved it as soon as she saw it.

Of great interest is the villa’s park that stretches for 35,000 square meters and in which you can admire the “Exotic Garden”, a collection of rare succulent plants and a citrus plantation.
The visitor is invited to walk around the grounds and avenues contemplating the several fountains, pools and wells, areas with benches and stone vases, as well as the wooden gazebo from where you can enjoy a unique panorama.

In 1976 Christiane Reimann left the Villa to the City of Syracuse to be used as “perennial location of training and educational activities, university or high-ranking intellectual interest cultural events, with the aim of contributing to the civil progress of the city”.
