The closest seaport to Ragusa is the Port of Pozzallo (approx. 30 km away, main gateway to Malta), as well as the larger ports of Catania and Palermo for ferry connections to Mainland Italy.

The intercity bus terminal is located at Via Zama in Ragusa Superiore. Regional bus lines offer frequent and direct connections to Catania, Catania Airport, Palermo, and other towns across the Noto Valley.

Ragusa can be reached via the regional highway and road network:

  • From Catania / Airport: take the **SS114** towards Syracuse, then follow the **SS194** and **SS115** state roads directly to Ragusa.
  • From Syracuse / Noto / Modica: take the **A18** highway to Modica and continue along the **SS115** state road.
  • From Palermo: take the **A19** highway (Palermo-Catania) to Caltanissetta, follow the **SS626** to Gela, and merge onto the **SS115** state road to Ragusa.
